Our Mission
Our mission is to teach, model and demonstrate skills/attributes such as integrity, respect, good sportsmanship, responsibility, discipline, dedication, determination, preparation and decision making through the game of baseball - with the goal of developing strong character in each individual.
Achieving this requires that players and parents understand and share our purpose:
- To support the athletic dreams of young athletes as they grow and mature
- To provide fundamental baseball know-how, build skills and improve playing ability at an accelerated rate
- To gain valuable life experiences as a result of team camaraderie and play
- To prepare players for the highest standards of baseball coaching, competition, and team play
- To develop wholesome, meaningful, and lasting friendships
- TO LET OUR KIDS HAVE FUN WHILE LEARNING HOW TO PLAY BASEBALL!!!
To achieve this mission Tara Hills Recreation Association demands that everyone associated with our organization treat every player, coach, manager, parent, spectator, and umpire with respect.
