It's all stars Time...
And Tara Hills is hosting a few of the Pony Sanctioned All Star Tournaments, we are hosting the Pinto Sectionals (June 23rd-July 1st), Pinto Regionals (July 4th-July?), Mustang Sectionals (July 6th-July 14th). The start of the Tournaments we're hosting begins Wed. June 24th. The cost to get in is $6 for everyone over 12, $3 for 5-11 years and free for 4 and under.
Please, No outside food/drinks, No alcohol/tobacco, and No dogs.
If your child is playing in the any of the tournaments that we are hosting and you want to work off your deposit, Please contact a board member to help find out how you can do.

Our Season has started and is rolling right along..
Most teams are close to having played all of the other teams in their respective divisions already. On Saturdays, It seems like, every field you look at there is a battle going off. New to our fields this year, we have a Standings board compliments of Miguel Diaz. It's located on the grey billboard, behind the right field fence of the Pinto field and It should be up every Saturday.

Friday, March the 6th, We are having a Field Clean Up Day.
We need as many volunteers as possible to help get Our Fields ready for Opening Day. I'm sure everyone has had a practice at the fields and noticed that they are in need of some TLC. Please come out to help Friday March, the 6th at 5pm, these fields need our attention. This isn't Disneyland where people are paid to clean up after everyone. We all need to lend a hand to keep our fields looking good.

Our Annual Dinner/ Dance Fundraiser is this Saturday the 28th.
For those that have attended in the past, it's a bit different this year, The Dinner is being provided by Kinders Meats.
In case you weren't sure about the specifics of this event, It's being held at the Hercules Swim Center. Doors open at 6:30pm, Dinner starts at 7pm. There will be Raffles, Music and More. In the past tickets have cost as much as $40.00 per person but this year, tickets are now $30.00 per person. If you want tickets call (510) 508-8069.The cut off date to buy tickets is Friday February the 27th.

Let the Pre-Season Begin!!
By now almost all divisions have drafted their teams. The Shetland, Pinto, & Mustang Divisions have their teams set and are ready to start practice this coming weekend. (this will vary from team to team) Bronco and Pony are close to starting as well. Good luck to all teams.

Make up Try-Outs are this Saturday Jan. 17th.
This is your last chance to get your child into the Tara Hills baseball league. We' will be at the field from 10am to about noon based on how many people show up... Then over the next couple of weeks each division will draft teams and start practices around January 31st. (depending on your coach and field availability.) Try-Outs are on this Saturday Jan. 9th.
The Shetland, Pinto, and Mustang Divisions try-outs will start at 9am, and will run in segments of 15-30 minutes per group of kids. The Bronco Division's try-outs will be in two segments and start at 1:30 pm and 3pm. In order to keep things running smoothly, Please show up at least 15 minutes earlier than your given try-out time to check your child in and let him/her warm-up. If you have questions, look for the people in the blue jackets..

Tuesday, January 6th 2009 is the very last day to sign your child up.
Sign ups will take place from 6:30pm - 8:30pm at the Montara Bay Community Center. (if you need directions see map in "Our Fields" section of this site.) This sign ups will be a special one, Thanks to Gil Gerk and Latona Whitaker, we will be selling a limited run of TH beanies and possibly TH blankets. (prices to be determined.) We hope to see you there.

Due to some technical difficulties, The site was down for the last week or so. We have made some repairs and all things should run smooth from now on. Keep your fingers crossed.

Sign ups will be held at the Montara Bay Community Center in San Pablo (click for map), from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on October 16th, November 12th & January 6th. *Players who Register on Oct.16th, will receive a discount of $20.00 off their fees. This discount is ONLY on Oct.16th.. *NO EXCEPTIONS*
New players MUST have their birth certificate ready upon registration..

Congratulations to all 2008 T.H.R.A. All-Star teams...
Our youngest division Shetland, despite not having an official Pony post season, did however compete in a tournament with teams from cities in the Bay Area. And won the tournament. The Pinto A team won the NorCal Regional Championship against Brentwood #1,The tournament was held at our fields. The Mustang A team won the Sectional Championships against Brentwood, also held at our fields.
Congratulations to all the Coaches, Players, and the Players Families..
